What the heck is basketaball? I know Samford lets in virtually everyone who applies, but try a little harder. Please. We aren't shopping for a new conference. The Southern suits us just fine. Thanks for your concern, and bless your heart.

davids, FYI, Butkuss is a former football parent who still bleeds red and blue. We've come to love his inability to spell. And the idea that Samford lets in virtually everybody who applies is laughable at best. Come back when you have time to try a little harder.

Thanks for the invitation. I will. How about right now? Maybe these guys are using bad numbers. They claim that Samford admits over 88% of their applicants. Why even make kids apply? If a school is going to admit almost everyone, the only point of the application is to collect the nominal fee. They probably got the SAT numbers wrong, too.

There was no "play scholarship football" argument. Just a couple of Samford people saying stupid stuff. The conference is way too smart to kick Davidson or CofC out. We occassionally see that argument from other schools in the conference. Seeing it from a school that just joined is surprising. Nice family photo, by the way. 88.5% of 7? Looks like 6 of them could get in to Samford. All 7 on a lucky day.
