I think the game is really next Friday in the season Final. I forgot about the open week. Friday night Lights is the best show on TV. Wife Swap is a close second.

I predict an East Dillard upset on a last second FG by Landery. Also Tammy will get fierd and be named the principal at East Dillard. Tim Riggens will some way get out of running the chop shop at Riggens Rigs. Matt will come home to save Julie from running away to join HFH. Luke will sign with San Antonio St just like Riggens did. There will be a big party honering Buddy for helping East Dillard.

You were partially correct, Butkuss. East Dillon did beat West Dillon on a last second FG by Landry. But, Tammy quit as West Dillon principal to become the counselor at East Dillon.

The game reminded me of when Plano East beat Plano Senior High the first time. It was quite an upset. The PESH kids tore down the goal posts. And, not unlike when Odessa beat the real Friday Night Lights Odessa Permian for the first time in decades. Gawd, I miss real Texas high school football!!

25 -24 hats off to Landry Clark on a 46 yarder at the buzzer. Still the best show on TV. I think Tammy got a promotion. Landry has been the one people picked on over the years. The ending had to be his justfucation as a player. Coach Taylor is the best!!! I just hate to worry about Tim Riggens in jail till the show starts next season. Matt tried to get Julie back but went back to Chicago without her. The best line last night was when Landry ask Matt if he saw his 72 yd FG.

I looked and looked for an emoticon to express a word that describes the shock, horror, dismay, disbelief, loss of faith in humanity--its like when you discover that Santa Clause isn't real or that your parents are human and make mistakes or that someone suddenly reveals that John Wayne was gay. I am reading a discussion amongst grown men about a soap opera about make believe stuff on a public forum without shame. Its sort of like that guy must have felt in the song Lola or in the movie the Crying Game. You think you know a couple of guys . . . until they start acting like this--then you begin to wonder--is it less emasculating if football is part of the plot?

Cujo -- it's football. Fictional, maybe, but it's FOOTBALL! We need something to keep our attention between January and August! I did watch the 1984 BC-Miami game on ESPN Classics today. Mrs. Blog still does not understand my fascination with ESPN Classics. She does, however, like FNL on TV.

I've got to go along with Cujo on this deal. Do you guys know that there is a "Soaps" channel?

Oh no you didn't just bring up the Miami/BC game. That was painful!! Now, the Miami Nebraska Orange Bowl 1984, that was a classic! I wish they could get the classic Samford Troy homecoming game. I'd throw a party at the house and have everyone over to watch that one.
